Invisalign is the greatest technological advancement within the Orthodontics field. Utilizing a series of clear, removable aligners, Invisalign is the contemporary way to straighten teeth. The advantages of Invisalign are unique and extensive, and patients benefit both during and after treatment. Some of the advantages Invisalign provides patients include:

• No metal brackets or wires. This reduces the mouth irritation and sores generally associated with regular braces
• Removable aligners. Each Invisalign aligner is removable and therefore the aligner is removed before brushing, flossing, and eating. This results in improved oral hygiene during treatment.
• Virtually undetectable in appearance, due to the clear nature of the aligners, Invisalign is almost invisible!
• Less time is spent in the dental chair. With no metal wires or brackets, the appointment times required are significantly reduced, as fewer alterations are necessary.
• Invisalign is suitable for both adults and adolescents.

During your Invisalign treatment with Dr. Greg Ganji, an impression of your existing tooth position will be made. An advanced 3-D image will then be made to visually depict your teeth onto the monitor. Each step of treatment can here be planned and viewed on screen. The patient's series of aligners are custom-made by Invisalign, in accordance with their individual measures and oral situation. Each aligner is worn for approximately two weeks before being replaced with the next aligner in the series. The overall time span Invisalign must be worn varies depending on each patient's circumstances. Invisalign is utilized until teeth reach their desired position, generally around fifteen months.
